Public Interest Litigation Clinic The Public Litigation Clinic is located in Missouri and its website includes sample pleadings from Missouri capital cases. Regulations.gov is a U.S. Government web site where you can find, review, and submit comments on Federal documents that are open for comment and published in the Federal Register. The site also has a variety of links to agencies' regulatory information pages, Executive Orders, OMB policy directives, and rule tracking information, as well as a gateway to Federal Register publications on GPO Access, including the daily Federal Register, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and e-CFR, a new online edition of the CFR updated daily. FindLaw A commercial website that offers an array of free resources and tools for the legal professional. Bureau of Justice Statistics Statistics and analysis on homicide trends, courts, and sentencing.

Capital Defense Weekly

A weekly summary of new death penalty decisions, as well as other developments related to the death penalty such as new statutes or clemency rulings, compiled by attorney Karl Keyes. Cornell Death Penalty Page General information about federal habeas corpus review and capital punishment, a synopsis of recent federal court decisions on habeas corpus and capital punishment, and links to other pertinent sites. Death Penalty Information Center The award winning site of the Death Penalty Information Center includes an execution data base and information on numerous topics related to the death penalty such as innocence, deterrence, mental retardation, race, etc. It also includes “Death Row U.S.A.” from NAACP’s Legal Defense Fund which lists all persons currently under a sentence of death in the United States. Death Penalty News & Updates This website, managed by Rick Halperin, collects news stories related to the death penalty. National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers NACDL devotes a portion of its website to death penalty materials, including useful articles from its magazine, The Champion.

The Arizona Federal Defender’s website includes a section for the Capital Habeas Unit with information on recent Arizona capital cases, upcoming training, etc. Northern District of Ohio Capital Habeas Unit Blog The Capital Habeas Unit of the Northern District of Ohio provides information about recent developments in capital and non-capital habeas cases from the Sixth Circuit as well as other issues pertinent to capital litigators in that jurisdiction.
