On December 15, 2010, a federal jury sentenced Anh The Duong to life in prison. Mr. Duong was previously sentenced to death in California state court for 4 murders that occurred in a nightclub in 1999. Federal prosecutors in the Northern District of California indicted Mr. Duong in a 29-count, multi-defendant racketeering indictment, alleging 3 capital homicides (arising out of a string of robberies), and an additional 5 RICO ACT murders.
